A Ranking of the Newest Pumpkin Spice Products

The flavors of fall have expanded from apples and cinnamon to include a coffee chain favorite—pumpkin spice. From the obscure to the classic, this fall flavor has made its way into grocery stores everywhere and isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Of course, we had to try out some of these staple pumpkin spice goodies for ourselves to see which ones come out on top and which may be worth skipping over.

Ben & Jerry’s Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream
This frozen treat is no stranger to out-of-the-box flavor combinations. If it’s edible, there’s probably an ice cream flavor out there infused with the ingredient. The sweetness of the pumpkin and cinnamon blends naturally with ice cream, making this our number one pick.

Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies
Unsurprisingly, pumpkin cheesecake cookies are as mouth-watering as they sound. The cinnamon-like spice combined with the cheesecake chunks makes for one scrumptious treat that makes your cookie jar all the more enticing after a long day.

Special K Pumpkin Spice Crunch Cereal
This morning breakfast favorite may not be the healthiest option before heading out the door, but sometimes a bowl of cereal is all you crave to start your day. However, not all cereal flavors make a lasting impression. While the pumpkin spice flavor wasn’t awful, it also didn’t wow our taste testers either.

CLIF Bar Spiced Pumpkin Pie
When you feel that mid-day crash coming, reaching for that energy bar is second nature. Certain bars take the healthy route and stick with it, while some brands infuse more guilty pleasure flavors into the mix. Unfortunately, pumpkin spice isn’t out-of-this- world good in energy bar form.

Dandies Pumpkin Marshmallows
Even this campfire staple couldn’t escape the pumpkin takeover. However, s’mores may be remaining spice-free for now. This flavor combination is worth a try for major fall enthusiasts, otherwise, we conclude that marshmallows are just fine the way they are.
