The origin of the quintessential NYC deli Reuben has been long debated by food enthusiasts and the families of its perceived creators, respectively. Regardless of who first created the sandwich, it’s a delicious amalgamation of deli counter favorites—corned beef, sauerkraut, rye bread, etc.

What could make this sandwich even better? Transforming it into a dip, which we’ve kindly done just for you Reuben lovers!

Ingredients

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine all of the ingredients until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Spread the mixture into a greased 9-inch pie plate, and bake for 20 minutes.

Tip: For a twist on this dip, hollow out a loaf of Irish soda bread. Pour in the dip, cover the loaf with aluminum foil, and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 15–20 minutes.
