If you find yourself popping into the city of brotherly love from now until July 8th, head over to Walnut Street for the ultimate art experience. Photo Pop Philly is an interactive pop-up art expo showcasing the talent of hometown artists in Philadelphia.
Exhibit-goers will find themselves enveloped in red, white, and blue as they venture through five rooms full of works inspired by the history of the city and the American spirit. Between interactive displays and dynamic murals, the photo opportunities are endless! With twelve total artists featured in Photo Pop, we’re giving you a peek of a few you may come across.
Sean Aye is a visual artist and muralist whose work exemplifies Euclidean Geometry Practices crossed with pop culture, global and socio-economic disciplines.
Alloyius Mcilwaine is a self-taught artist who began at the age of three trying to recreate comic book images. He now specializes in freestyle art and creates hand-painted t-shirt designs for his clothing brand.
Nero is a street artist that specializes in stencil art. His street murals can be found on 10th and Buttonwood Street in Philly.
