If you’re stuck on what to do for a fun spring weekend, consider heading to one of these food and wine festivals, and get ready to clink and munch the day away!

Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend – April 18-21

A festival for a cause, the proceeds from tickets for Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend go to children’s charities around the Charlotte community. Sip on some of the best wines with Laura Maniec, a master sommelier, as your guide. Participating restaurants around this North Carolina city also have a vintner with you as you dine, so you can learn all about the wine you’re enjoying.

Austin Food & Wine Festival – April 27-29

As one of the most popular festivals in the country, Austin’s food and wine extravaganza prides itself on offering artisanal food demos, cocktail tastings, a Sunday gospel brunch, and showcases from some of the best chefs nationwide. For those that yearn for a cozier experience, the Feast Under the Stars is a 5-course meal prepared by some of the participating chefs, paired with different wines and sweet treats.

Nantucket Wine Festival – May 16-20

With a Veuve Clicquot toast to kick off the weekend, it’s no wonder the food and wine festival in Nantucket, Massachusetts, is world-renowned. This year’s schedule includes a tasting with fifth-generation winemaker Christian Moreau. Other wine connoisseurs letting you in on the secrets of winemaking include Joe Donelan, head of Donelan Family Wine, Eric Asimov, New York Times wine critic, and a truffle preparing session with Michelin starred Chef Gabriel Kreuther.

The Aspen Food & Wine Classic – June 15-17

You’ll never experience a dull moment at the Aspen Food & Wine Classic. There’s something for every type of food and wine aficionado, from a peanut butter and wine tasting, to learning all about the best blends from Argentina and Chile.
