Refreshing Fruit Punch


With its high water content, watermelon is one of the best fruits to eat on a hot summer day. This punch features a refreshing hint of watermelon flavor, served in an adorable watermelon “bowl,” that’s sure to keep guests cool.


Ingredients:

  • 1 large watermelon
  • 1½ cups sparkling water
  • 1½ cups pineapple juice

Instructions:

  1. Cut ⅓ of the watermelon off the top, and hollow out the inside.
  2. Puree the chunks of watermelon you remove, and then press through a strainer to make the juice. Tip: You may find it helpful to do this in several batches.
  3. Into the watermelon bowl, combine the sparkling water, pineapple juice, and watermelon juice. Stir to mix. Refrigerate before serving, about an hour.
