This flavorful cocktail is perfect for holiday gatherings. Cream is seasoned and steeped with ginger, molasses, cinnamon, brown sugar, and nutmeg before it’s chilled, shaken, and served. Crushed ginger snaps make for a cute and simple garnish, too!
Makes 4 drinks
- In a medium pot over low heat whisk together gingerbread cream ingredients. Heat mixture for 5 minutes or until blended and sugar has dissolved. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Fill a shaker with ice, vodka and coffee liqueur and shake until cold. Strain mixture into chilled rock glasses and top with gingerbread cream. Garnish cocktails with crushed ginger snaps before serving.
Tip: The gingerbread cream is perfect for non-alcoholic beverages, as well. Stir a little in your coffee for a seasonal sweet treat!
