Jalapeno Popper Corndog
This corndog mashup has some spice. Doggies are wrapped in cheese and dipped into a jalapeño batter before being fried crisp.

Instructions:
- Wrap hotdogs in cheddar cheese slices, and skewer. Keep refrigerated until ready to fry.
- Heat oil to 350°F in a deep fryer or large dutch oven.
- In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar. Add in eggs, jalapeño, onions, and half-and-half, whisk until smooth, and pour batter into a tall glass jar or container.
- Dip cheese wrapped dogs into batter, and fry for 5-6 minutes, or until corndogs are golden brown. Drain on a rack or paper towels before serving.
Tips: Add more jalapeños to spice up this recipe to your heat preferences.
