This unique bear vessel is eco-friendly and cost-efficient—made from recycling an empty two-litter soda bottle!—and allows you to get creative with your artistic skills. This project can also be easily adapted to reflect your child’s favorite animal.
- Cut the soda bottle into the shape of a bear’s head by first using the marker to draw the outline of the head, and cutting.
- Paint the entire bottle brown, and let try for at least one hour before painting the bear’s facial features.
- Once dry, add the potting soil into the bottom of the bottle, followed by the plant of your choice, and top with more soil.
Tip: Be sure to water the plant as directed, and leave in a place that receives adequate sunlight.
