Spring has arrived in Phoenix, and it’s time to take advantage of the pleasant weather before the summer heat hits. There are plenty of events in the area to keep on your radar, but we’re giving you the ones you simply can’t miss.
Scottsdale Culinary Festival – April 13-14
This annual festival brings out the foodie in all of us. Included is live music, tastings from over 35 participating restaurants, and wine, beer, and cocktail samplings. Food trucks and microbreweries make an appearance at this year’s travel-themed event, which is sure to make it an even more can’t-miss affair.
Country Thunder Music Festival – April 11-14
Country music lovers, unite! This music festival features star acts like Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Chris Stapleton, Abby Anderson, and many more. Rent a safari-style tent for the weekend, or get a general admission ticket to enjoy all of the country music entertainment.
Arizona Tiki Oasis – April 12-14
Head to Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale for a Tiki island party to remember. Mirrored after Tiki Oasis in San Diego, this party features poolside fun, seminars, rooftop events, cocktail dinner parties, and an artist marketplace that is unmatched.
FRIED: French Fry and Music Festival – April 20
Have you ever dreamed of a food festival dedicated to French fries? Well here’s your chance to experience just that. Phoenix hosts FRIED, a festival that solely revolves around this tasty side dish. The area’s best DJs and bands come out to Margaret T. Hance Park as you relax on the lawn sipping some craft beer and munching on loaded fries you won’t find anywhere else.
This exhibition runs through early September at the Arizona Science Center, but why not have an informative and immersive experience now? There are over 40 human and animal mummies to view, as well as artifacts from around the world that give you a glimpse into the history of mummies.
