Refresh your body and mind with this fresh drink. Made with ripe peaches and sweet tea, this fruity concoction is perfect for any picnic, holiday gathering, or at high tea.
- Remove the pits from the peaches, and puree the flesh until smooth.
- Over medium-high heat, combine 1 cup of water, the sugar, and the peach puree, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and continue to cook, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes or until sugar is absorbed.
- While stirring the simple syrup, bring 2 quarts of water to a boil in a separate saucepan. Steep tea bags for five minutes, or as otherwise directed. Discard tea bags, and remove the saucepan from heat to cool completely.
- To serve, combine simple syrup and tea together, and garnish each glass with a peach slice.
