Sometimes, we need to lighten up the day with a spoonful of whimsy. And what better way to do this than in the kitchen as you transform a basic lunch platter into a personified character!

These chipper chicks always show up with a pack of friends. But today, the entourage came outfitted to match one another—with their olive slices as mouths, cheesy eyeball base, and red pepper pieces for pupils.

1. 
   To make chipper chicken nuggets, you will need a couple chicken nuggets, a cheese stick, a black olive, and a cherry tomato.
2. 
   Heat up the chicken nuggets, and place on a plate.
3. 
   Slice the cheese sticks to form the whites of the eyes. You may need to cut the slices in half to get them the right size.
   Cut little pieces of cherry tomato, and place them on top of the cheese.
4. 
   Slice the olive, and then cut the slices in half to form smiles.
