With just a few simple steps, these maracas will be finished in a couple of minutes, and you’re bound to find your kids shaking them well past Cinco de Mayo.

Directions:

1. Draw on the outside of each paper cup with the permanent markers.
2. Fill the first cup with the dried pinto beans. The more beans you include, the more noise your maraca will make.
3. Place a line of hot glue around the top edge of the cup.
4. Place the second cup on the glue, and let dry.
