Stamped Table Runner
Rather than shopping for the perfect table runner to complete your fall tablescape, create your own to perfectly pair with your style. Your fabric and stamp choices make this a very customizable craft—we personalized ours to complete our festive fall table setting.

Directions:
- Start by cutting your potato in half lengthwise. Be as careful as possible to cut the potato straight so that your design will stamp evenly onto your fabric.
- Trace your designs onto the flat side of each potato half using a pen or pencil. Be sure to press hard enough to make an impression into the potato.
- Using the paring knife, cut away a layer of the potato outside the design, so that only the design remains raised.
- Dip the raised design into the paint, and stamp onto the table runner. Press firmly into the fabric, rolling the stamp from side to side to ensure a complete transfer of your design. Repeat this process until your design is complete.
Tip: Decide on a pattern before beginning. Consider stamping the design along just the perimeter to create a structured border, or follow a random pattern to create a whimsical flow.
