This is the ultimate refreshing summer cocktail—a frozen concoction of rosé wine, watermelon, lime, and basil.
- In a small sauce pot over medium-high heat, gently simmer sugar and lime juice until sugar has devolved, creating a simple syrup.
- In a food processor, combine lime simple syrup, watermelon, and triple sec, and blend until pureed. Pour mixture into a large bowl.
- Whisk in rosé and fresh basil, and pour into a large container. Cover, and freeze until slushy.
- Serve with basil sprigs and watermelon slices.
Tips: This recipe will take about 12–24 hours to slush up-depending on your freezer’s settings.
