Improper airplane etiquette can make a plane ride go from bearable to downright unpleasant. Use these basic tips to ensure that you and your family are flying both mindfully and comfortably.

Again, personal space is limited! If you need to recline your seat, it’s best to notify the traveler behind you before you take over their leg room.

Be polite and respectful to the flight crew.

They’re doing the best that they can to ensure that everyone gets to where they need to be.
