Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm, Lockport, IL
There are over 30 attractions at this family-run farm in Illinois. Play tic tac toe or checkers with mini pumpkins, visit the farm animals, or try out the zip line which goes right alongside the cornfield. It’s only an hour from Chicago and is the perfect way to spend a fall day with the kids.
Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch, Dallas, TX
There are over 90,000 pumpkins at this patch. This year’s theme is “The Adventures in Neverland”, and there are always a multitude of events to look forward to, like scavenger hunts and a hay bale maze.
Craven Farm, Snohomish, WA
This farm boasts 20 acres worth of 30 different varieties of pumpkins. There’s also a 15-acre corn maze to peruse through, making the farm worthy of their Best Pumpkin Patch in Washington State title by Reader’s Digest this year.
Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch, Middletown, MD
Jumbo’s lives up to its name—the acreage is substantial (coming in at 30), and the entirety of it is open for picking. There’s also a large shopping area with crafts from local artisans, a petting zoo, and plenty of other fall fun that the entire family can get behind.
Heaven Hill Farm, Vernon, NJ
This is New Jersey’s standout pumpkin patch, and a must-do for any autumn lovers. Carnival rides, pony rides, and one of the largest corn mazes in Jersey awaits you at Heaven Hill Farm. Come for the pumpkins, and stay for the vast array of carnival food!
