If you’re tired of racking your brain every time your children say they have nothing to do, try creating a Bored Jar—simply fill a Mason jar with a stash of activity ideas that they can choose from!
We’ve created lists of activities to help take the planning out of the process. But feel free to get inspired and add your own to the mix!
Printable After-School Activity Ideas
- Download the three printable activity sheets, and print on the coordinating colors of paper.
- Cut out each activity strip from the sheets, fold, and set aside.
- On the tag, use the markers to create a color key so it is easy to identify what each color means. Tie the tag around the mouth of the jar.
- Fill the jar with the activity strips, and beat boredom once and for all!
