Paint Chip Calendar
This project makes creative use of paint swatches to form a calendar that’s bursting with color. Best of all, it’s relatively easy to make, and the color combinations you can choose from are virtually endless!
Materials
Directions:
- Open the frame, and take out the paper inside. Measure and cut each of the lightest colors into 2½-by-1-inch pieces until you have 7 rectangles.
- Measure and cut your remaining paint chips into 35 (2½-by-1½-inch) pieces. Based on your color preference, lay out the paint swatches onto the board, making sure to leave room at the top.
- Secure each paint chip onto your background with glue, and adhere them firmly to the board. Write the days of the week on the 2½-by-1-inch squares, if desired. Once the paint chips are secured, place the board back inside the frame. Take your dry-erase marker, and label your calendar. Erase it at the end of every month to create a new month!
