Sock Snow Pal
When you’re a kid, some of the most exciting events of the year happen during the winter holidays. This year, what better way to get into the spirit than to have the kids help with the decorations? This sock snow pal is an easy-to-assemble craft that kids can make themselves and keep throughout the winter season.
Materials
Directions:
- Pour dry rice or beans inside of your sock to create the base of the snowman. Then fill the sock about halfway with the polyester stuffing to make the body of your snowman. Secure with a rubber band so that the stuffing is packed in tightly.
- Add a little more stuffing to form the snowman’s head. Ideally, the head will be slightly smaller in circumference than the body. Again, secure with a rubber band to close the sock.
- Use the rim of the sock to create the snowman’s hat by rolling the leg of the sock about halfway down the snowman’s head. Then flip up the end to create the rim of the hat.
- Decorate your snowman as desired.
