Sorbet All Day

Fruity and sweet, sorbet is a deliciously refreshing treat for summer. Give one of these easy-to-make flavors a try!
Berrymint
- 1½ cup water
- 1½ cup sugar
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Few sprigs fresh mint, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Combine the water, sugar, and blueberries in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer, and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the blueberries are reduced.
- Stir in the lemon juice and mint, and pour the mixture into a metal loaf pan. Freeze for at least 6 hours.
Creamy Peach
- 1½ cup water
- 1½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup peaches, diced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
- Combine the water, sugar, diced peaches, and lemon juice in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer, and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, or until the peaches are fully reduced.
- Pour the mixture into a metal loaf pan, and spoon in the mascarpone cheese in small dollops. Using a knife, incorporate the cheese into the mixture, and freeze for at least 6 hours.
Blushing Berry
- 1½ cup water
- 1½ cup sugar
- 1 cup strawberries, diced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ cup dry Rosé
Instructions:
- Combine the water, sugar, and strawberries in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer, and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, or until the strawberries are reduced.
- Add in the Rosé, and stir to combine. Pour into a metal loaf pan, and freeze for at least 6 hours.
