The origin of the quintessential NYC deli Reuben has been long debated by food enthusiasts and the families of its perceived creators, respectively. Regardless of who first created the sandwich, it’s a delicious amalgamation of deli counter favorites—corned beef, sauerkraut, rye bread, etc.
What could make this sandwich even better? Transforming it into a dip, which we’ve kindly done just for you Reuben lovers!
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine all of the ingredients until thoroughly mixed.
- Hollow out the loaf of Irish soda bread. Pour in the dip, cover the loaf with aluminum foil, and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15–20 minutes.
