Don’t let last year’s Hanukkah cards go to waste—repurpose them into a one-of-a-kind collage that’s the perfect holiday gift!

Directions:

1. Cut last year’s Hanukkah cards or wrapping paper into small pieces of various shapes and sizes.
2. Cover a piece of paper with a thin layer of Mod Podge, and begin placing the scraps randomly onto it.
3. Layer the pieces to create a dynamic pattern of colors and elements from the cards. As you are layering scraps, alternate thin layers of Mod Podge over top to seal the pieces in place.
4. The Mod Podge will dry clear, but it helps to dampen a paper towel and blot the collage to remove the excess.
5. Cover the entire base so that no color shows through the scraps, but don’t be afraid to add many layers. Allow the collage to dry for at least one hour.
6. While the collage is drying, fold the construction paper in half and sketch a shape onto it (either freehand or using a stencil). Cut out the shape to reveal a symmetrical silhouette in the design of your choice.
7. Place your cut-out silhouette over the collage and secure using the Mod Podge. Once dry, frame your collage or give to a loved one as a holiday card.
