Give the gift of a white winter this holiday season—even if it is only the size of a jar. A personalized snow globe can be the perfect present for all ages. For a child, try incorporating their favorite character, or add a few drops of food coloring to make it match their bedroom.

Directions:

1. Using the glue, attach the base of the figurine to the inside of the jar lid. Allow to dry thoroughly—ideally overnight.
2. Fill the jar with water, leaving approximately ½ inch of space at the top. Add the corn syrup, and stir to combine. Then add a little glitter for the “snow.”
3. Coat the inner edge of the lid with glue. Put the lid on the jar and close it as tightly as you can. Allow to dry overnight.
