“We’ve Moved!” Printables for Announcing Your New Address to Friends and Family

Whether you are moving across the country or simply down the street, there is no place like home. It’s important to spread the word about your big move and updated information. Here are some easy ways to keep in touch with those around you complete with printables to mail out or email to your loved ones!

But with everything that comes with a move, letting others know about your new address can easily fall by the wayside and feel like another time-consuming task to add to your long list of things to do. Here are three time-saving tips for letting family and friends know that you’ve moved.

phones in the air

Make it count
Announcing your move is a nice way to share your news, but it can also save you time during the holidays and throughout the year. Ask people to respond via phone call or e-mail to provide their current addresses, and you won’t have to dig around when it comes time to sending those birthday, anniversary, or holiday cards. Plus, this is a great way to get back in touch with those you may not have spoken to in a while.

Make it personal
Sending a greeting card is the next-best thing to delivering the news in person. But just because you’re taking a personal approach doesn’t mean you can’t save time by sending the same message to everyone. Type up a quick message, such as, “We’ve recently moved! Our family would love to keep in touch, so please make note of our change of address.” You can even keep extra prestuffed cards in your car or purse for when you see those people whose address you may not have.

Keep it affordable
Let’s be honest—updating others of your new address is more of a courtesy than necessity. That’s why you shouldn’t spend time (or money) picking out individual greeting cards. We’ve designed printable moving announcements that will fit your schedule, budget, and style. From playful illustrations of a cityscape to sweet country or suburban scenes, these unique designs help your vital new information stand out, with a touch of flair that matches the excitement of your new home.

Whatever your motivation, print out these free downloadable greeting cards so you can update others of your new address or congratulate others on theirs!
