Is your cat scratching the furniture, the rug, or your wooden floors? It’s only in their nature, but their urge to scratch still doesn’t bode well for your interior space. This DIY scratch post will solve this frustrating feline problem, giving them something to paw at that’s not yours.

Directions:

1. Starting at the base of the vase, wrap the rope around the vase and secure with hot glue. Continue wrapping all the way to the top.
2. Once complete, fill the bottom of the vase with rocks (about ⅓ of the way) to make it sturdy.
3. Fill the inside of the vase with decorative branches or flowers, or leave empty for a simple look.
