Wooden Washboard Cabinet
Washing machines now have touchscreens, send you notifications when your wash is finished, and have powerful technology that make your clothes brand new after every wear.
However, people used to need a washboard just to get the toughest stains of dirt removed. This cabinet version will let you keep your high-tech machine, and turn that old washboard into a charming cabinet.

Directions:
- Ensure that the washboard you are using fits the same dimensions as the crate or pallet. If not, add or cut away some of the wood so that it fits snugly.
- Place the washboard on top of the crate or palette, where you would like it to be, and mark the spots where you plan to place the hinges. Using the power drill, pre-drill the holes where you would like the screws to go, and then screw the hinges to each side.
- Put the pieces of the door catch together following the instructions on the packaging, and then install to one side of the door. Close the door, and install the other side to ensure it will align properly.
- Use the hand saw to cut the dowel rod to be able to fit snugly in the cabinet. Be sure to leave enough room to hand a towel on, and secure with screws on either side.
